grrr, art can be frustrating...

So I am painting a picture for Jennie and her family.  I want it to be perfect, of course.  So I was putting some finishing touches on the piece last night and decided I wasn't entirely happy, so I haven't started over, but I am using different colors because I think it will be a better composition and will convey what I am trying to interpret.  It is getting there, a few more days and I know I will have something really special on my hands.  Not to worry Jen, I promise I will deliver something you and Benj will be really moved by and proud of - this is yours of course, your experience, my interpretation.  Thank you again for the gift of letting me do this for you and your family.

I am THRILLED because today I meet with Leslie, my new friend, who also happens to be a fantastic photographer - she is going to shoot my "Oak" painting and my newest cause ribbon.  Yeah, got to love professional grade photography - plus I'm a girl that loves to barter, I can't wait to brainstorm with Leslie on what I can do for her (painting of course)!

Anyway, check back- I'll be posting these new images soon!  In the mean time - my dad was here to visit and we had a wonderful time!  Here's Silly Papa with the Page chickens at the Zoo!

Thanks!
